Y.Dem.II, beg.22b ע׳ הוא the cumin of Cyprus is crooked; a. e.Fem. עֲקוּמָּה. Succ.4a, v. דּוֹפָן. Erub.I, 5; a. e.Y.Taan.IV, beg.67b (in Chald. dict.) הות אצבעתיה ע׳ had a crooked finger; Y.Meg.IV, 75b bot. עֲקִימָה.Pl. עֲקוּמּוֹת. Bab. ib. 24b (ידיו) ע׳ עקושות לאוכ׳ if his hands (fingers) are curved (inward) or bent (sideways), he must not pronounce the priestly benediction.
